Sattva Kirtan Retreat & Training

The Sattva Kirtan Retreat & Training is a dedicated immersion into the path of Bhakti Yoga and sacred sound, held at Sattva Retreat in Rishikesh.

This retreat invites participants into a structured week of devotional practice through mantra, harmonium, meditation, Satsang, and daily Sattva Yoga. It is both an immersion and a training — designed to cultivate a direct experience of bhava, the inner devotional state from which authentic kirtan arises.

The emphasis is not on performance, but on presence. Through chanting, study, and shared practice within sangha, mantra is approached as a living tradition and transformative yogic path.

Daily harmonium sessions are offered for all levels — from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. The focus remains on embodiment, continuity of practice, and developing confidence to sustain devotional chanting beyond the retreat environment.

Each day begins in meditation, followed by a complete Sattva Yoga journey to establish clarity, steadiness, and devotional awareness. Through kirtan, wisdom sessions, and integrative study, participants are guided into a grounded and authentic relationship with sacred sound.
The retreat maintains a balance of structure and spaciousness — offering a clear rhythm of practice while allowing time for reflection and integration.
This immersion is open to those who feel drawn toward sacred music, toward the heart of mantra, and toward reconnecting with their voice in a meaningful way.
